All original and good to very good overall. Original leather grip wrap and wire in good condition. Has the original leather blade washer. Brass hilt and the blade with nice original attic patina. Blade with some fine pinprick pitting 6” from the ricasso on both sides. Very minor. Excellent dent free Model 1840 scabbard with old black japanned paint. Nice all original example at a reasonable price.
